Nice tractor indeed. I think he ended up giving somewhere around $1100 for it. Not too bad at all! Most B's around here people are asking close to 2k or better.
As for me, well. This '41 JD A has been beating me into the ground with every bolt I take out of it. Once this project is back together, when I graduate from school, and when we find our next house (with a MUCH larger shop - I'm working out of a 1-stall townhouse garage now), I'll be looking to get into an A with a belly mower, and would like to chase down grandpa's 1940 M with a loader for snow. Last I heard, the uncle had it parked in the woods near Alexandria, MN. (Haven't heard from him in years).
