that is essentially the same thing as I've got, which is a 4 row "45" with the outer 2 rows removed. there is one clutch for each row, and it is located under the fertilizer unit. if you watch underneath while a helper cycles the hydraulics up and down, you should be able to see the mechanical parts move. the clutch is just a simple cog, for lack of a better word, that slides on its shaft, i think there is a spring to drive it one way, the linkage from the lift cylinder pushes it the other. they do tend to stick after storage, so you might need to get in there with a hammer and some oil. grease it up well when you get it free.
another piece of advice: when you're done for the season, take the fertilizer boxes off and the mechanism apart enough to pressure wash all traces of fertilizer. then paint the entire steel part of the machine with oil. paint is good as far as it goes, but that fertilizer dust is nasty stuff.
