If it came off an M, then you shouldn't have to drill holes or cut anything. Those holes have to line up somewhere.
Many loaders on tractors of that era bolt to the frame rails near the front bolster, or to the front bolster itself, and clamp on to the rear axle housings.
If you can "mock up" the loader where it will be on the tractor by laying the side frames near where they clamp to the axle, you will be able to determine where that front bracket attaches.
