April 6-7, 2014. Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen will have their latest projects & old favorites on display in the West Ridge Mall located in Fergus Falls, MN. 9AM-5PM Sat. & 10AM-4PM on Sunday. John Deere is being featured this year; get your tickets on a Model 1020 JD that has been restored from front to back, new paint, new tires, etc. Since I am on the advertising committee I get to spread the work about our show (even those green machines). Today's Featured Article - Tractor Traction - by Chris Pratt. Our first bout with traction problems came when cultivatin with our Massey-Harris Pony. Up till then, this tractor had been running a corn grinder and pulling a trailer. It had new unfilled rear tires and no wheel weights.
