Not shure I would build a fire under it, but I might build a sort of tent set up with a tarp and stick a kerosene heater in there. Be careful you don't torch the tarp. My guess is you have an emulshion which has formed ice crystals -- kinda like icecream. I'd drain it and fill it with fresh.
