save your money and just use it as is. not going to hurt a thing as you will never get into a situation where you need the torque. it is only used in field work on heavy pulling so you don't have to down shift. you can down shift into 2nd gear and just use it as is. ooh, you can also lift the cultivator or plow up a bit in the tough spots also. in a case ih shop would be way more than the tractor is worth.
