John Athey; may I suggest peeking through the archives or repost, asking how to adjust a 460 TA. If my shortening memory recalls, I have read posts where this might be all that is necessary; wouldn't that be great! Some other folks will probably chime in here as well. Another idea, is there a tractor club or group in your area? Possibly contact them and you might be fortunate in that a member could give advice or help with this project and they might, in turn, gain a new member!
