For restoration I would prefer good used original lines,however,gates make some really good fittings(sure other mfg.too)that will let you change to a 2 wire hyd.hose. 90's,45's etc... They even have a compression fitting that changes from a steel to a rubber line,in the event you have a real odd fitting.Just cut the steel line in a good straight place behind the fitting & go.I have made lots of these back in the day. A Industrial hyd. supplier would be a good place to start.Good Luck
