If you hook up the wires backward on the ammeter it will read backward. My 300 has the ammeter that was on it when I got it, though I had to replace the other gauges. It reads backward because I converted it to 12V - ground and did not bother to swap the leads. I just ignore the charge and discharge symbols and know which way means what, and no one else drives the tractor anyway. Zach
