distilate & kerosene burners had to be started on gas to warm up, and could run on straight gas. But they also had a special manifold to heat the intake for the other fuels and had shutters on radiater to allow tractor to warm up faster and run a little on the warm side. I think they also may of had a little bit different jets in carborater.
