What are you trying to do removing material from the head. If you want more compression get some RED POWER SLEEVES AND PISTONS you could take 30 thous off the head. Then ya better go with a 12v system and a good I-H dist. Check the dia of the sleeves at the bottom where the o-ring depending on the block you could go with the 3 1/4 sleeve giving you around 135 ci in and with 240 gov spring get around 30 pluss HPand turn 2100 rpms.
