It is time to get the mowing tractor in the shop for service while things are slow.
My 47 A has always had clutch issues. It lets out well and doesn't slip, but when you push it in you have to wait forever for things to stop spinning to get it into gear. I have checked the fluid in the rear and it is fine. I know if there is not enough they will spin on for a while.
I have adjusted the clutch to the right amount of play. What's the deal with this clutch? It doesn't leak out from the rear main, so it isn't gobbed up and sticking. Broken springs on the pressure plate?
