I have a 1954 Farmall Super C tractor with the original 6 volt electrical system. I burned out the original voltage regulator when mice chewed through the original wiring harness. So I replaced all of that, and put a new foreign made voltage regulator on it I bought from Orscheln (Made in Thialand). Well, it didn't last very long and burned out again. I went through the trouble shooting instruction on this site and did all the tests and they point to a bad regulator again. The generator charges at 20 amps when I patch around the voltage regulator. So, my question is, where is the best place to get a good old American made one that will last?
