Ok makes sense. Picked up the manifold years ago when I was loading up wife's grandpas first tractor, the '31 duckbill F30. He had parked the tractor in 1961 so I loaded up the spare engine parts from a disassembled w30 . Tractors were over a bluff below corn feild, never asked about corn picker parts. Had not thought about heat shield on a gas manifold. Thanks for info
