Hi If you"re no mechanic that 2030 or any Deere like that is the last tractor to be looking at. when they give hyd problems or trans problems they are ignorant and very expensive to fix. There are way to many parts in from Deere that are a few thousand dollars each.
Im startin to find this out on a customer 1830. They may be getting the chop from the JD parts lists in a while, from what a guy told me last year. So parts may be hard to find unless after market pick them up. I doubt they will all be available either if they do, used stuff is hard to find depending on the tractor options fitted.
Was a nice tractor when new but many are gettin worn out or big things just starting to fall off. you could get a wreck thats just trouble and costs you you"re shirt when you find this out. You can at least fix some other brands pretty easy and cheaper if parts are around someplace ! Regards Robert
