Well the spring and roll pin is from the range transmission shifter . as to your MCV pump problems With out testing it i can not say as to the good or bad of the pump . Could be that she is sucking air , it could be that you have water in the oil could be that you have a couple valves sticking . Just tomany COULD BE's . It need's checked out by someone that Really knows what he is doing and we are getting fewer in numbers by the day. And a lot less have the equipment to test it.
