Dave, How is Mars PA? A freind of mine used to manage Pauls chrome plating some years ago. Anyhow,Haas is just about spot on with his recomendations. My 2424 Hyd res. holds 3-5 gal depending on implements,The loader, etc. It`s filler plug is the one on the right, behind the seat. the drain is below, to the rear. It is also the res. for the power steering. The trans . and bull gear case are seperate. My manual(from Binder books,$19.95) calls for 17 gal total, 3pt hitch, power steering, mine has no loader, I`m jeolous!! My tractor is apart right now, same thing! What is HY-TRANS??? No IH-CASE dealer close by. Thanks J.
