Morning all, Today the starter is gone. It spins over fine but does not throw out the gear to engage the flywheel. Sounds like this mounted and when removed and bench tested with jumper cables, it is clearly NOT throwing the gear out. This is the "Bendix" gear correct? Any quick fix out there ? A user rebuild kit? Bench test with battery cable is red and black to battery, other black to mounting flange on starter and the red (HOT)is touched to the stud going into the starter. Did I miss anything? Thanks to all in advance dave
