I have one that does the same. Generally after some rain or I refilled then gas tank. Seems either will get all the condensed water into the sediment bowl at once. Also brings in all the rust too. Dump your sediment bowl a couple times until the gas looks nice and fresh. This new stuff will burn if you dump it on a fire, but it will absorb water and not fire in the engine. hope that helps
