jd there is no need for sutch a large motor,i built a 326 cube motor for a guy named jerry leek in ohio 5 years ago and he won the div-4 7500 open class in natpa points championship last year with a S-MTA,and he could take the tractor to the field and use it if he keeps good gas in it.look at all the small block chevies that hld record,s,75 percent of all motor records are held with small block motors.remember wen a motor get,s bigger it becomes very un-reliable.most of those big bore and stroker motor,s leak water all the time.
