Don't know how to post this without it sounding smart %ss, but just want to point out a problem. If I would post I have a 400 tractor for sale without any other information or picture. Would you have a idea what to say its worth? I would like to know the following. Do they run, run good? No coolant loss or any in the crankcase? Does everything on the tractor work as it should, T/A PTO electrical ETC? IPTO or other? Tires and rims condition? Paint sheet metal and battery box and seat condition? Fenders? Any optional equipment, hitches, power steering, weights, ETC? 400 LP used 2 different cylinder heads, there is a serial number break. Would want to know if the correct one was still there if after the serial break. 400D had changes also. I would want to know the serial number of both tractors if I was interested. From the info you give all I can give is my opinion that generally the prices for 400 tractors and some others is getting softer.
