Originally the system included a reservoir and two internal cylinders that lifted and or moved attachments. This is called a hydra touch system. The controls are located on the quadrant near the throttle. I agree with Gene, the return should go to a reservoir to assure no pressure is applied to the pump when not in use. Jim
