I have used stabalizer in my boat for years and I never had a gummed carb. and it always ran fine in the spring. I add it to my lawn mower, chain saw and tractors every winter. If you don't, you may have bad gas by spring. I always leave the carb. full of stablized gas. That way the gaskets don't dry out and condinsation will not form in a full carb. On my Cub, if I leave unstablized gas in it for a month, I have to take the bottom screw out and spray carb. cleaner in to get it started. I have always used the stuff that is sold by the marine shops, OMC or Mercury. Use it, it works !
