I am in the process of doing the exact same thing. I had an axle bearing go out. Mine was the outer bearing and it was in pieces.Once I took apart, I had damage to the dust cap, hub, and axle housing. I was lucky enough to find everything I needed and now will start re-installation soon. I guessing like others say - possibly inner axle bearing. If so, email me and I can give you details of how I took mine apart. I also have all the bearing cross reference numbers if needed.
