No the hub is splined to the end of the axle. It can be loose and wear at that point. It is easy to remove the bic centered bolt and washer, then slide the wheel/hub off the axle. Put cribbing under the housing to assure no falling, then if it has no liquid in it it should be able to be pulled off. (two people are a good idea, or a cherry picker to hold the weight) If it is very difficult to remove, the splines and hub might be OK. If easy and loose, it may need to have a good used axle put in as well as bearings and a good used hub. Jim
