I was wondering what was the true color of the 706 model badge? My 706 has one gold and one silver badge. Some one once told me that they all came from the factory with the gold badges and the silver ones were just gold ones that are faded. I could be wrong but I find that to belive since my silver one is still silver on the side that does not see any light. And that all the aftermarket ones I see are silver. If they came gold why wouldn't the aftermarket company's sell gold ones not silver ones.
