Had no steering on my 806, also, found that the pump for the steering system, had the woodruf key worn off on the drive end of the pump. This might not be whats wrong with yours, but......
This pump is situated on the left side, [sitting in the seat], behind the plate on the clutch housing, in my book, it is called the "power supply and multiple controle valve", it's about a foot square and an inch and a quarter thick, I think,
