Since you have some pressure I'm more apt to think it's your oil pump. My co-worker had a Ford with the 352cid engine and oil light came on and the hydraulic valves started chattering. We put a gauge on it and still no pressure. He pulled the pump and found the relief valve open. Called me at work to pick up a new pump and I helped him to install the new pump.
