I do a lot of 56 Delco stuff and i have the crimper to do it all in one shot . Ya do the end and then they slide into the insultator and lock in . If ya need to take them apart you can make a TOOL out of a cotter pin by just filing it flat on the rounded side and you insert it on the plug in side and that will push the tab down so you can remove it from the insulator , then if you want to put it back in ya just bend the tang back up and stuff it back in. As for fueses i gave up on FUSES years ago i now use self resetting breakers . Each and every tractor i work on a wiring problem the fuses is the first think that gets removed and a breaker is put in place .
