Battery wiring

I'm rewiring my 560D thanks to encouragement from some of you. Half way thru, my manuals arrived from Binder Books. Everything looks fine except for how the battery was wired. Manual says:
Ground___-BatteryA+____-BatteryB+____Solenoid
Tractor was wired:
Ground___-BatteryA+___S___+BatteryB-___Ground
Where "S" is the wire to the solenoid. Does it have the same net effect or not?
