The best way i have found is with a disc sander and some 100 to 120 grit and it will also polish it a bit . Then once you have it all nice and shinny after your done plowing take a can of spray paint and give them a light coat of spray paint . Then when you head out to play i mean plow that paint will be off of the bottoms before ya go a hundred feet . myself i use what ever color that is on sale and i don't care if it is pink .
