Farmall M steering loose and sloppy as it can get. I just received my new used steering worm gear and shaft from Bates Corp. Bermuda Ken had a bushing and bearing kit like someone suggested. I have shimmed the upper steering shaft with a thin piece of copper and it turns freely. The universal joint is adjustable with thin washer shims and I have removed the slop in it. The sector gear is worn on about 5 teeth. Is it a good idea to re-install it 180 degrees from where it was? It seems logical. The vertical shaft has some wear, but I think I can use it over, considering the price to get it built up and turned. Anything I haven't thought of yet? Thanks, Ellis
