By the way, all of them that I rebuilt were tractors for H*ll. Those blocks have a tendency to crack by the mains, lose heli-coil type thread inserts when removing bolts (factory installed), sleeves can be stuck something awful, etc. Great tractors though when fixed right. The last one I did - even the machine shop was H*ll. I sent the rods there to get the big ends resized. Should of been a simple procedure. The guy's mike was way off. I suspected he hadn't calibrated it since Abe Lincoln was shot. He ruined all four rods on his Sunnen machine. He then offered to resize four more - no charge if I got new rods somewhere. I got pretty ticked but finally made him pay for four more.
