At consignment auction yesterday (So. Central Texas) a single-front Farmall 666 6 cyl dsl brought $1k. Started/ran without smoke, tires 40-60%, pto & 3 pt seemed fine, gearshift seemed ok, NO TA. Lack of serial # tag made me wonder... Farmall 1086 brought $10K. Most tractors & equipment were John Deere. JD 4010, bad pto (new paint) brought $3K. JD 3010 went for $1800. JD 4440 went for $4K. Two MF Super 90's went for $750 and $1K. A consignment auction is a "pig in a poke", but some prices seemed very low to me. That auction always starts and runs all (running) tractors prior to sale.
