Cold with 30wt, 0r 15-40, they are always above 60psi idle to wide open. Hot they can be as low as 35psi Idle and above 60psi open. (the gauge was usually pegged high when working) When worn for a long time, they will be OK with 15 psi idle warm, and 40 psi at high RPM. Low pressure is one or a combination of: Worn end plate and gears in the pump Loose cam bearings Loose rods/mains Check the oil pump first. Jim
