I have a 424 gas tractor,"67 model yr I believe that will intermittently lose power cut out and die. After waiting a while it may run ok for a while and do it again. In the past dad always thought it was a fuel issue and would drain the sediment bowl and would maybe help, maybe not. I cannot see any sediment in bottom of fuel tank. He has removed the factory fuel pump and is working off gravity now. So my question...Is it possible the factory fuel pump or a 12V electric pump would fix this or do you think more likely could be a coil issue?
