Be carefull of an old engine with too light of an engine oil . If it burns oil it will consume the thinner oil very fast . I ruined a lawn mower engine doing this . I would keep an eye on it for awhile to be sure . A too heavy oil in cold start might spin a bearing . Seen that happen to .
Bottom line is what condition is your engine ??
