It shouldn't surprise some of you, but I thought I would post this as a passing comment.
I am at the Pioneer gas and steam show in Saegerstown, Pa. With the F-30. I put brand new Autolite 3077's in, had the K5 carb professionally rebuilt, installed an F4 mag I had Nebraska Kirk redo for me. Set the timing right on the specs. Valve lash is dead on.
Starts, every time, 1/4 turn on the crank. NO effort what-so-ever.
My point for this? Any F-series tractor with the fuel delivery and ignition system set right, starts EASY! Period. So, as a comment to the new folks, and those who come here with starting trouble:
