Bob- Can the indicator light draw more than 200 milliamps? Thanks for telling us what the load is for- I always wondered about that. I have a couple of nice 10,000hr lights from Radio Shack #272-332. I couldn't get a ampere meter reading in the 200 milli range, using the meter in series with the light to a 12-volt battery. The light works and the meter still can read voltage. I was thinking of putting the resistor you reccommend in the step-by-step 12v conversion article in the article archives for no light along with this light to achieve a 200mA+ load. Would this work?
