Bottom of the hole at a square head 1/2 inch pipe plug located on the mid left side of the tractor ahead of the clutch pedal. If refilling after draining, check another plug on the same side below the starter to make sure the oil is leveled out. Hy tran oil is recommended now with a t/a. Original owners manual from around 1956 will say to use SAE-10 or SAE-10W with one quart of T/A transmission lubricant additive to each 4 gallons used. Manual printed in 1958 can say use SAE-75 gear lubricant or the combination above. Temperatures always above 40 degrees SAE-80 gear oil may be used.
