I replaced the wiring harness on an 856 two years ago. I priced all the harness makers and found genuine IH was as cheap or cheaper than the aftermarket ones. The harness was great quality. What a joy putting the electronics back together with new soft supple wire and all new connectors on the ends. It was hard to spend $500 on new wiring, but after the fact, was money well spent.
