Remove carb drain plug & empty the carb by turning off the tank shutoff. Turn on the tank valve and allow the gas to flush any small particles past the needle & seat. Shut off the tank valve & install the drain plug. Turn on the tank valve & check for leaks. Sometimes a small hammer tapping on the carb bowl will help. Could also try rubbing-cleaning the needle tip and make sure the needle is not rubbing on the side of the seat.
