If you go to the article archive Bob M has a great description of how to do the conversion on an M. Should be about the same on the 130 I would think. Best alternator to use seems to be a Delco 10SI for size. It has an internal regulator and can be purchased at wrecking yards pretty cheap depending upon the area where you live. I did the conversion on my SMTA and used a resistor ahead of the coil wire to keep from burning points. This is shown in Bob's conversion article and is cheap. I did one on a JD 430 and changed to a 12 volt coil with internal resister. Works the same but more expensive than the resister. Conversion works great on my SMTA. You probably don't need 12 volts to turn your 130 over though and I am told the 12 volt conversion is a little hard on starter drives
