Had that happen with the 1086 once. A wrist pin bushing bit the dust. It would only knock occasionally. What was left of the bushing was probably rotating so sometimes it would be tight and sometimes not. A few hours of work and a new P&S and rebuilt rod for that hole and she was back in the field again. That was 5000 hours ago and it's been trouble free since then. Jim
