Well, ok, here's the deal...... I put a new battery in my C last year, which I bought at Cenex- for you that have heard of it... And it worked till winter... Then it started to stop charging, and then in spring it started chaging again, then we had no problems all summer, and now it is charging, and discharging, 4 weeks ago I went to start it.....good.....2 weeks later-bad...the next day... good, and themn last weekend, bad, I am going to replace the ground battery wire. I have a rebuilt starter, and generator, a voltage regulator-1 year old. It has SOME of the original wires on it- with the cloth webbing on it... Should I replace all these wires, and with what gauge wires... How much will I need?? It is a 12 volt.... Do I need anything in the distributor- it had a new cap and heat regulator/resistor (if that is right) put on it in '98, and new wires also...I also have just finished the restoration on my 1941 Case SC... Drove it for the first time Sunday in 7 1/2 years.....please help me
