Thanks so much for your reply friends, I am sending a diagram of how this ameter is connected, I am getting hot wires like there's a short and my lights are not working neither is the ameter itself. I don't understand it was working (the connections) at the time I brought the tractor home. the only parts I replaced was the starter relay and battery cables the starter does not have a ground. once I tried to jump this tractor it burned up my jumper cables, but I have had it running since then but only for a short time when I had to get my carbruretor rebuilt. since then I have had electrical problems, also I have had no problems starting this tractor it usually kicks right over even on the coldest days. I could really use some direction from this point of my sad story. thanks friends 12 volt conversion
