The C-263, the seal is replaced by splitting the tractor and removing the flywheel. Was going to do it on my 560 but found out there was no sealer applied to the threads of the bolts that held the flywheel on. They are drilled through into the crankcase. We pulled it apart and there is a dowl for alignment, there was another opposite of it and it also went into the crankcase from the back. Ended up with silicone but still get a little dribble once and a while from the back running down the plate on the back. There also could be the seals on the sides of the main bearing block that slides into the engine block holding the rear seal in place. A couple things to look for.Hope it goes well for you, When we got the 560 apart the clutch springs were broke and ended up changing the TA clutch also when it was split. This can get into a large can of worms when you open it up. Good luck.
