For wet snow two stage works best.Powder flows so well that it takes minimal HP to push it and blow it,the wet stuff is a lot different as you know.I've had good luck with a plow with wings on the side to help keep it in front when the plow is rolled righr it will roll the snow for feet ahead.The only problem I have had with 2 stage is how far they will throw a stone!
