T-Bone I don't know if this applies or not.Have you ever considered a automatic transmission?I currently drive a GMC with a turbo diesel I added a GearVendor over/under drive unit it cost about$1000 but was worth every penny and I never have to mess with shifting.It pulls my 35ft camper like it wasnt there it also pulls my car hauler with my H with fluid in the tires and loader no problem just my 2 cents Good luck.
