Pat just run a good grade of oil in her and it will be fine. Years ago I bought a M that was very dirty. The valve cover had so much junk in it that you could see marks where the rocker arms were moving in the cover.I cleaned the top off with diesel fuel and droped the pan and cleaned it out. Put it back together and filled it up with ATF and ran it at about half throttle for a half hour and drained it and did the same thing again and then put 15-40 diesel oil in it and never had a problem.
